Sketch of the Month

March 20, 2008 by Ruth

I can’t believe a week has gone by and I haven’t updated my Blog. I have been aiming to update it twice a week, however this week I failed. Never mind there is always next week to try!

I thought I would upload the card I made for Sketch of the Month. This has been made with the ‘Heartfelt Thanks’ stamp set and Earth Elements card. I used the slit punch to scallop the edge and Versa Marker to make the water mark. The ribbon is being discontinued, which I am very sad about, however rest assured there are some great ribbons coming out in the new Ideas Book and Catalogue 2008 – 2009.
If you would like to receive the new ‘Ideas Book and Catalogue’ please email me your details.

Sketch of the Month

In my monthly newsletters I include a ‘Sketch of the Month’, this was the Sketch for March.

You can make a card or any other creation using the ideas of the sketch. You can make it as fancy or as simple as you like. I thought you might like to use it for some inspiration on those days you are struggling!
I would love to see what you create, so feel free to email a photo of your card or other creation you make.
I am going to use my sketch today to create a card, so watch this space for an updated blog with my creation.

Nearly Gone

I thought I would post one of my favourite stamp sets that is retiring this year (very sad) and also let you know there is a pdf list of all the retired stamps and accessories on the Stampin’ Up! website, just click here to view the list.
I have used Soft Subtles card stock, with the ‘French Script’ stamp as a background. To add a little more detail I used the cord which is also retiring.
